Masta rugs. Tri-vent is a triangulated gusset system which creates a bellow type effect when the horse is in motion. Whatever the pace of the horse the tri-vent system works to allow freedom of movement, avoids rubbing and promotes air flowto improve breathability.The enlarged rubber triangle at the top of the gusset is fully channelled stitched and seam taped to ensure waterproofness,gusset strength and durability.

Check-tech is a material that is made from 600 denier polyester fibres woven into a unique alternating diagnonal herringbone pattern. The inherent strength of the polyester combined with the unique weave results in a fabric which is more than 30% stronger than the ripstop fabric. Check-tech fabric is then coated with a high quality PU based compound which results in one of the highest levels of waterproofness and breathability of any turnout. The fabric has an appealing distinctivelook with superb durability and high resilience to the elements.

Storm-cord is an elasticated nylon cord with spring effect toggles at both ends that is sewn into special channels inside the rear binding of the rug. The cord allows the rug to be adjusted around the quarters to prevent draughts, wind and rain blowing inside the rug. The combination of the storm cord and the unique Masta tail flap provides the horse with comfort and protection from the elements.
